Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and
Uzbekistan are set to create a project to export renewable energy to Europe, as
reported by the Kazakh Ministry of Energy. The countries agreed to explore
opportunities for opening a joint venture that will supply green energy from
the Central Asian states through the territory of Azerbaijan to European
countries. In addition, a joint working group will be established to prepare technical
specifications for cooperation in the field of energy exchange, the development
and supply of green hydrogen and green ammonia, as well as the creation of
related infrastructure. Afterward, the parties will launch a tender to prepare
a justification for the implementation of the energy project.
