The number of flights between
Kazakhstan and Thailand will increase according to the corresponding memorandum
concluded by the aviation authorities of the two countries. The parties held
negotiations in the city of Bangkok. The signed agreement will enable the
growth of the total amount of authorized flights by 35 percent from 402 to 544
per week, including 84 flights carried out between cities such as Astana,
Almaty, Karagandy, Shymkent and Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi, and Utapao. It is
noteworthy that Thailand has established a visa-free regime for Kazakh citizens
since September 25, which will last until February 29, 2024, and enable for up
to 30 days stay without a visa.
