Kazakhstan signs agreements to supply products to China

40 food and light industry enterprises represented Kazakhstan at the China -Eurasia: Commodity and Trade Expo in Urumqi. In total, over 1,300 companies from 40 countries around the world participated in the international exhibition. The Kazakhstan pavilion showcased a range of products, including pasta, confectionery, honey, cereals, as well as oil and fat products, among others. According to experts, the Chinese market is promising for domestic businesses, given its scale and demand for high-quality and environmentally friendly products from Kazakhstan.

Kazakh companies signed cooperation agreements at the exhibition. Thus, representatives from domestic edible oil plants agreed with their Chinese counterparts on product supplies worth $60 million. It is noteworthy that Kazakhstan may export goods totaling $300 million to China in the next three years, as previously stated by the National Oilseed Processors Association.
