Pakistan's largest logistics company is ready to provide Kazakhstan with access to the Indian Ocean, opening up opportunities for domestic goods to tap into the markets of South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. According to the Kazakh Invest National Company, the holding company can finance the development of transport and logistics corridors along the Kazakhstan-Pakistan route. This initiative involves establishing routes through Central Asian countries and Afghanistan, providing access to the Indian Ocean via Pakistan’s ports. The parties considered joint investment projects in infrastructure development. It bears noting that the transit time for cargo from the Kazakh border to the seaport of Karachi is about 11-12 days. On their part, Pakistani entrepreneurs will be able to export their goods to China, as well as to the countries in the EAEU and Central Asia via 13 international transport corridors passing through Kazakhstan.
