Kazakhstan’s healthcare investments reach 300 billion tenge in 2023

Last year, investments in healthcare and social services in Kazakhstan surged by 43 percent compared to 2022. Investments in fixed capital reached 300 billion tenge in the first 11 months of 2023, according to Finprom.kz. The real capital growth in the sector exceeded 36 percent. The majority of investments were directed towards the healthcare sector in Astana, with significant funds also recorded in Almaty city, as well as Turkistan and East Kazakhstan regions.
