The growth rate of Kazakhstan’s
economy reached nearly five percent, as announced by the country’s Minister of
National Economy, Alibek Kuantyrov, presenting the first 11 months of this year
during a government meeting. According to him, the positive dynamics in the
real sector amounted to 3.5 percent, while in the service sector, it exceeded
5.5 percent. The sectors experiencing the highest growth include construction,
trade, information and communication, as well as transport and warehousing. The
volume of investments in fixed assets increased by around 15 percent. Positive
indicators are also observed in trade with other countries. From January to
October 2023, foreign trade turnover grew by three percent, exceeding $114
billion. More than half of these funds come from exports. Overall, the
country’s positive trade balance exceeds $15 billion.
