Kazakhstan plans to register its first domestically
developed cancer treatment drug by the end of the year. The second phase of
clinical trials is currently underway, following the successful completion of
the first phase last year. This time, the study has been expanded to test the
drug on all types of cancer. Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat
Nurbek emphasized that the drug is demonstrating consistent results. On
average, patients’ tumors have shrunk by one-third, with some cases of
remission observed.
«We plan to register this drug by the end of the year and
bring it to market. The results are very good and consistent. By year-end, we
will hold a conference to present it,» said Nurbek.
