A total of 769
proposals, amounting to over 34 trillion tenge, are registered in Kazakhstan’s national
pool of investment projects. Currently, construction and installation work is underway
on nearly half of these projects. Forty percent are at the documentation
preparation stage, and 66 projects have already been put into operation. The
leading regions for large projects are Astana, Shymkent, as well as the
Zhambyl, Kyzylorda, and North Kazakhstan regions. The majority of these
projects are funded by domestic investors. Capital has also been attracted from
China, Russia, Türkiye, and the United Arab Emirates.
