Kazakhstan ready to ramp up exports of goods worth almost $412 million to Pakistan

Kazakhstan is ready to ramp up exports to Pakistan in more than 800 types of manufacturing goods. In particular, domestic entrepreneurs are keen to export grain and legumes, vegetable oil, pasta, flour and confectionery products worth almost $412 million. As of today, Kazakhstan supplies Pakistan with flat-rolled products, ferrous metal scrap, mineral fertilizers, vegetables, and cereals. The two countries have great prospects for cooperation in the field of subsoil use, agro-industrial complex, light industry, transport and logistics. The latter plays a pivotal role in intensifying partnerships. Pakistan’s ports are important for promoting the export of Kazakhstan’s products to the markets of South Asia. This will provide domestic producers with the shortest access to the southern seaports.
