Artificial intelligence under control -
Kazakhstan proposes to introduce uniform rules for the use of AI technologies.
Members of the Mazhilis, the Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament, have taken
up consideration of a draft law outlining the specifics of AI usage by
government agencies and quasi-state structures, as well as the rights and
obligations of market participants. The proposed amendments also address the
protection of personal data processed by such systems. In addition, MPs suggest
introducing legislative measures to control the distribution of media content
generated by artificial intelligence and establishing administrative liability
for the owners of such systems.
