Kazakhstan produces 44.7 million tonnes of oil in first half of 2024

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was presented with a report on the development of the country’s fuel and energy complex for the first six months of 2024. According to Minister of Energy Almassadam Satkaliyev, 44.7 million tonnes of oil were produced in Kazakhstan during this period. The production of petroleum products exceeded six million tonnes, gas production amounted to more than 30 billion cubic meters, and electricity generation reached nearly 60.5 billion kilowatt-hours. The Head of State was also briefed on the ministry’s plans, particularly regarding the implementation of investment projects ensuring stable energy and heat supply to consumers. President Tokayev instructed to carry out preparations for the heating season and provide the domestic market with oil products.
