Kazakhstan photographers’ works in demand abroad

Kazakh photographer Alexander Vlasyuk’s works are well-known abroad. His photos are constantly purchased at the international photo exhibitions. His favorite hobby and a desire to preserve the memory of the beautiful moments have brought him international recognition. The photographer repeatedly became the winner of prestigious contests. Recently, he has won “Kazakhstan Diagamma 2022” photo contest, being selected as the best among 260 photographers from different countries. At the prestigious event, which was held under the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Art and Photographic Society of America, Kazakh photographer was awarded two gold medals and the ribbon of honor for his works such as “Balkhash”, “Beach Season” and “Owlet Grey”.

“I have sent 14 works, 12 of which were selected for the photo exhibition and three works got the awards. It’s just for my interest, to compete with other participants, as photographers from across the world take part in it. It is an excitement, to show my worth,” said Alexander Vlasyuk, a photographer.

Alexander prefers to photograph the nature, travelling across the country. According to him, 50 percent of the successful photos depends on the weather and lighting. Every year, he visits the same areas and each time he reveals them in different ways, the author says.

“It is difficult to capture the moment, when the weather is changing. The moment, lasting just a few seconds. The sunset cannot last for long. And to capture that very moment is the most interesting thing for me,” opined the photographer.

Kazakhstan has a lot of young talented photographers, Alexander says. In order to get the success and recognition, the master advises them to analyze the mistakes and constantly upgrade their skills.
