Kazakhstan has launched the Khan Tengri Innovation Hub in
China. The opening took place at the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park in Shanghai, known
as Asia’s Silicon Valley. This first specialized platform will provide IT
companies and startups from Kazakhstan and Central Asia with the opportunity to
enter the Chinese market, and, consequently, a chance to grow into global
players. Notably, the hub is already collaborating with China’s accelerator XNode
and launching programs for businesses at various stages of development.
«We believe this will be an important platform for promoting
our startups’ products in the Chinese market. It is a very large market where many
unicorns are emerging. We think that opportunities should be provided not only
for entering Western markets, but also for tapping into a large market like
China. That’s why we invite all startups and entrepreneurs to take advantage of
our IT hub, where you will receive comprehensive support,» noted Kazakh
Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan
Madiyev.
