Astana to host Kazakhstan-Produced Content 2.0 forum

Over 2,000 representatives from the mining and metallurgical industry, authorized bodies, investors and foreign experts will take part in the international forum ‘Kazakhstan-produced content 2.0’. They will discuss matters related to developing the industry's potential, as well as introducing modern approaches and best modern practices aimed at localizing product production and increasing the share of Kazakh content. The event also aims to create multiple platforms for dialogue, including B2B and G2B meetings. Additionally, a new analytical procurement system for subsoil users of solid minerals is set to be presented there.

“There are plans to centralize information on current and planned investment projects of domestic producers and enhance end-to-end control over their implementation. Information on the status of investment project implementation will be available for subsoil users, state bodies and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, facilitating more effective control and administration of state support measures to ensure the successful launch of production,” said Murat Amrin, Deputy Chairperson of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
