Kazakhstan launches digital platform of National Qualification System

A digital platform for professional development of employees has been launched in Kazakhstan. In order to find out the level of training and the suitability for the chosen profession, one needs to visit the Career Enbek digital platform. It enables participants to get free access to information on career opportunities and use the tools of the National Qualifications System. It includes requirements for knowledge and skills in specialties, professional standards, and a register of professions. According to the developers, the platform with easy-to-use interface provides all data about the chosen profession by applying filters, including all branches, types of activity, the name of standards or specialties.

“The platform is a digital system designed for the interaction of all participants of the National Qualifications System. It includes convenient features, a glossary, and all regulatory legal acts that involve basic concepts. Also, the filters allow to find the required profession, professional standards, and necessary requirements. Overall, the platform contains the register of vocational and higher educational programs,” said Daulet Argandykov, the President of the Center for Human Resources Development.

In the future, the developers intend to expand the capabilities of the Career Enbek digital platform. They will modernize it to enable professional qualifications recognition centres to receive accreditation, while registered unemployed people will be able to take exams and qualifications free of charge.

“Participants are the citizens of Kazakhstan, who can pass the assessment. The platform has a personal account function. Kazakh citizens will be able to undergo a skills assessment on a voluntary basis. There are 25 recognition centers. Special vouchers are provided for the unemployed, which are subsidized by the state through labor mobility or career centers,” Argandykov informed.
