Today, Kazakhstan is evacuating
its citizens from Israel by a special flight, which has already left Almaty for
Tel Aviv. Organizational measures are carried out at all levels, including by the
Embassy of Kazakhstan to Israel, according to which the data of Kazakh citizens
in Israel are constantly being collected and lists are being formed. Besides,
the emergency chat was created. The Kazakh Embassy in Tel-Aviv urges Kazakhs to
observe all precautions and monitor all news, hotlines and the official website.
It is worth mentioning that as noted by the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, 118 Kazakh
citizens have expressed a desire to return home from Israel. In general, 77
people are registered with the consular section of Kazakhstan’s diplomatic
mission in Israel. Five Kazakh citizens study in Israel’s universities. Also,
there may be over 400 Kazakhs in Israel, who are not registered with the
consular office.
“The country’s
Foreign Ministry and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Tel Aviv opened an emergency
hotline for Kazakh citizens in Israel and their relatives in the homeland. During
these two days, we handled more than 500 calls and appeals from our
compatriots. Our diplomats in Tel Aviv are in constant contact with Kazakh
citizens in Israel. In order to ensure prompt communication, a special chat
room has been created in the messenger, which currently includes nearly 200
citizens of Kazakhstan, temporarily and permanently residing in Israel,” said
Aibek Smadiyarov, spokesperson for the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
