Kazakhstan creates Digital Family Map

Kazakhstan is launching the ‘Digital Family Map’ starting today. It will operate in a pilot mode for now. This information system aims to provide state assistance to citizens in a proactive format, that is, without waiting for an application from the recipient, the country’s Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population reports. The project is being implemented in several stages. In the first stage, residents will have the opportunity to receive services for nine types of benefits and social payments, and in the second stage the list will be expanded with services in the social protection field. From January 2024, state guarantees will be introduced in the fields of healthcare and education. The ‘Digital Family Map’ contains data on all 19,400,000 citizens of the country.
