Kazakh, Uzbek Presidents visit new mosque in Turkistan

The Presidents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan visited the new mosque in Turkistan. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev toured the site, which has become a symbol of fraternal relations and spiritual cooperation between the two countries. The mosque was built as a gift from the President of Uzbekistan to the residents of Turkistan and all citizens of Kazakhstan. Its architecture blends traditional Islamic design with modern construction technologies. The facade and interior are decorated with national ornaments and elements of Islamic calligraphy. The minarets are 61 meters high. The mosque is equipped with modern engineering infrastructure. The surrounding area has been landscaped, with lighting systems installed, recreational areas established, and fountains set up.
