Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met
with the President of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the sidelines of the Abu
Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) Summit. The Head of State emphasized the
country’s interest in strengthening relations with one of Africa’s largest
economies. For his part, Nigeria’s President expressed his readiness to make
efforts to elevate bilateral relations to a new level. The interlocutors discussed
prospects for cooperation in trade, transport and logistics, energy, and
agriculture. The Head of State extended an invitation to the President of
Nigeria for an official visit to Kazakhstan.
