Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev extended his congratulations to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of
Uzbekistan on his birthday, wishing him well-being and success in his
responsible state activities. During the telephone conversation, President
Tokayev emphasized that he highly values his counterpart’s contribution to
strengthening friendship, good neighborliness, and alliance between the two
countries. They also discussed prospects for enhancing cooperation in trade and
economic, transport and logistics, energy, and cultural and humanitarian
spheres. Additionally, the heads of state reviewed current regional and
international issues.
