Kazakh President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan aim to further
expand the strategic partnership between the two countries, based on mutual
support and trust, as stated during their telephone conversation. The heads of
state discussed prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation in trade and
economic, investment, and cultural and humanitarian spheres, while also
addressing topical issues of the international and regional agenda.
Additionally, the parties exchanged views on the preparations for the 10th summit
of the Organization of Turkic States, scheduled to take place in Astana in
November. According to President Tokayev, this meeting will mark an important
step towards the development of relations among Turkic countries.
