A meeting of the Commission on
the Fight against Corruption took place in Astana under the chairmanship of Kazakhstan’s
State Counsellor Erlan Karin. Participants discussed the Аnti-corruption policy
Concept of the country for 2022-2026 formed as a result of ongoing reforms. The
document is aimed at building anti-corruption immunity in society as well as
improving the well-being of the population. Karin stressed the need to monitor
objective data on reducing the corruption level and enhancing cooperation with
international experts from GRECO for further implementation of effective
measures and practices to counteract corruption.
