Kazakh school students will be able to receive individual teacher consultations. During distance learning, students who lag behind the program will be allowed to come to the school and take additional classes, Kazakh Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimagambetov announced at a briefing. He said that classes should not include more than five people. Classes will be held only at the recommendation of the teacher, if the students really need it.
“This is very important. Since we started distance learning, we have been constantly monitoring learning achievements. Teachers monitor where schoolchildren have lagging zones. When we see that it is very difficult for school students to study, and if such children express their willingness to do so, we can invite them and сonduct individual consultations with them,” said Askhat Aimagambetov, Kazakh Minister of Education and Science.
The interdepartmental commission to prevent the spread of coronavirus decided that in the third term the schoolchildren will study online. Only graduating students of the 9th and 11th grades will attend school. 70 percent of classes will be held in a traditional, in-class format and 30 percent online. Spectacular, sporting and mass events are also banned this year, which means school students are going to skip New Year’s school parties this time.
