On November 9, at
the invitation of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President Vladimir
Putin of Russia will pay an official visit to Astana, the Akorda press service
reports. The visit’s agenda includes high-level talks between the leaders of
the two countries to discuss topical issues of the Kazakh-Russian strategic
partnership. Furthermore, the Heads of State will participate in the XIX Forum
of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia through a video
conference. The event is scheduled to take place in Kostanai.
