During his working visit to
Almaty, Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov emphasized the importance of

successful practices in other regions. Particularly, Bektenov visited a new
logistics distribution center under construction, covering 100,000 square
meters with an estimated cost of nearly 13 billion tenge and completion
expected by the second quarter of 2025. Notably, a second similar center is
planned for the Kazakh capital. Bektenov also reviewed the small industrial
parks program, highlighting their role in supporting small business entities. He
toured a car manufacturing plant in Almaty, slated for expansion and
modernization completely through investor funds exceeding 16 billion tenge.
«The Kazakh automotive industry has already
established itself and will continue to advance. The government will
provide comprehensive support to businesses in all necessary areas. I recognize
your strong desire to develop further and move towards deeper integration and
increased localization. Thus, Kazakhstan should emerge as a powerful automotive
state,» Bektenov said.
