President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with leading representatives of global neurosurgery
at the Akorda Palace during their visit to Astana for the 10th World Congress.
He highlighted that hosting such an important forum confirms international
recognition of Kazakhstan’s achievements in neurosurgery. The President
expressed confidence that the event will strengthen cooperation and the
exchange of advanced practices. Emphasizing the importance of integrating
digital and robotic solutions, including artificial intelligence, to advance
neuroscience in the country, Tokayev praised the scientific contributions of
the participants. He also expressed Kazakhstan’s interest in expanding
international collaboration, aimed at sharing experience and facilitating the
transfer of medical technologies. In response, foreign experts affirmed their
readiness to support Kazakhstan in the continued modernization of its
neurosurgical sector.
