President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Chairman of Sunwah Group Jonathan Choi. The Head of State noted that Kazakhstan creates favorable conditions for attracting foreign investment and provides comprehensive support for joint strategic projects. He highlighted artificial intelligence as a key area of interest, noting that China is among the global leaders in this field and that cooperation in AI is of particular importance. President Tokayev emphasized that Kazakhstan attaches particular importance to the active development of an everlasting comprehensive strategic partnership with the People’s Republic of China. For his part, Jonathan Choi expressed gratitude to the President for the warm reception and described Kazakhstan as an attractive and reliable country for investment. He noted that this is largely due to the consistent support of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President Xi Jinping.
«Kazakhstan’s trade and economic relations with China are developing successfully in terms of bilateral trade volume. China is Kazakhstan’s top trading partner, and the development of investment cooperation is also of great importance,» Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted.
