Today, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was presented with key indicators of
the socio-economic development of the regions. The Head of State was briefed by
phone by the governors of the Atyrau, Zhambyl, Mangystau, and Ulytau regions.
He noted that regional development requires new approaches and instructed the
governors to take concrete measures to strengthen the regions’ economic
potential, accelerate the construction of social infrastructure, and continue
large-scale work under the Taza Kazakhstan initiative. President Tokayev also
underlined the need for continuous engagement with citizens to ensure timely
responses to emerging issues.
