Cooperation in defense and military
education was discussed at a meeting between Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev and Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir. The Head of State emphasized
that Kazakhstan considers Pakistan a crucial partner in South Asia, noting that
relations between the countries have positive dynamics. There is significant
potential in the economic sphere – in trade, transport, and logistics sectors.
In turn, Munir highlighted the positive trend in collaboration between the
defense ministries of Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
