President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Elżbieta
Franków-Jaśkiewicz, Chair of the Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units.
During the meeting, the Head of State emphasized the importance of the group as
a key international platform that contributes to strengthening global financial
security and the effective recovery of assets and reaffirmed the country’s
commitment to enhancing its national anti-money laundering system in line with
international standards. The President also noted that the Law and Order
concept had been adopted to ensure the rule of law. For her part, Elżbieta
Frankow-Jaśkiewicz commended the reforms being carried out in Kazakhstan and
highlighted their effectiveness.
