Today, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev presented
state awards to law enforcement officers and prizewinners of the UAE SWAT
Challenge in Dubai. Over 100 teams from 80 countries competed in the
prestigious tournament this year, including 12 teams from Kazakhstan. The
participants underwent intense tests, including assault and rescue operations,
as well as obstacle courses. The Kazakh officers performed at the highest
level. The Ministry of Internal Affairs teams, «Sunkar and «Tomiris», earned
silver medals, while the National Security Committee's «Arystan» team took
fourth place. The Kazakh State Security Service and the Ministry of Defense
team members also achieved notable results. The Head of State congratulated the
winners, emphasizing that their success is the result of diligent training and
high-level preparation.
«Our fighters proudly represented the country on the
international stage, demonstrating the strength of Kazakh warriors to the
world. We are proud of you. Such victories inspire the entire nation,
especially the youth. Strong warriors are a reliable support of the state,» said
Tokayev.
The Head of State highlighted that traditions of courage are
deeply woven into the history of the Kazakh people. It is everyone’s duty to
preserve in the memory of generations the remarkable feats of heroes—those who
defended the Motherland, whether on the front lines or by working on the home
front. This year, Kazakhstan will commemorate a significant milestone: the 80th
anniversary of World War II victory. Today, a new generation of officers
continues this path with honor, remaining faithful to their oath and serving in
the name of Law and Order. It is they who ensure stability in the country.
«International relations are currently undergoing global
changes. Some countries, including major powers, are fundamentally rethinking
their approaches to foreign and domestic policy. However, we have long
advocated for political pragmatism and a balance between traditional and modern
values. We have always emphasized the importance of upholding Law and Order.
Time has proven the correctness of our principles and strategic course,» Tokayev
added.
The Head of State wished the officers success, once again
emphasizing that building a strong and prosperous Kazakhstan is the nation’s
primary goal.
