The 11th International Military-Patriotic
Youth Gathering «Aibyn» has started in the Aktobe region. The opening ceremony
was attended by President of Kazakhstan – Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the
Armed Forces Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The event brought together about 800
participants from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia,
and Uzbekistan. In his speech, Tokayev emphasized the special role of the
gathering in strengthening the spirit of the younger generation. The event is
dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the 100th birth anniversary
of Hero of the Soviet Union Aliya Moldagulova.
«Aliya Moldagulova went to the front at a
very young age, finding herself in the midst of brutal fights. In bloody
battles, she showed true heroism and selfless devotion to duty. This year, we mark
the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, paying tribute to the memory and expressing
gratitude to the generation of victors. For Kazakhstan, this historic
anniversary holds great importance. Our people made an invaluable contribution
to the Victory, defending the ideals of freedom and justice,» Tokayev said.
Military service is a great honor. As the
President noted, Kazakhstan attaches great importance to military-patriotic
education of the younger generation. A strong army, he said, is the foundation
of Independence and a guarantor of the country’s dynamic development. The
future of the Armed Forces lies in the hands of the youth! They are the ones
who contribute to building a Just and Safe Kazakhstan. Tokayev stressed that as
Supreme Commander-in-Chief, he firmly believes in young people – educated,
honest, and driven.
«In the coming days, you will have the
opportunity to showcase your ingenuity, strength, and agility. You will immerse
yourself in the atmosphere of military service and get acquainted with
cutting-edge technologies of the modern army. A true warrior knows that the
source of all victories lies in hard work, strict self-discipline, and a strong
sense of responsibility. During tactical games, you will also need courage,
determination, mutual support, and effective teamwork,» he noted.
Throughout the week, young participants
will take part in the intellectual game «Aibyn daryny,» the Smart Sarbaz technology
competition, and the creative contest «Aibyn zhuldyzy.» They will demonstrate
their skills in air rifle shooting, disassembling and assembling a Kalashnikov
rifle. They will also participate in sports competitions and the military-tactical
game «Kushimiz birlikte.» Following the opening ceremony, Tokayev toured an innovative
training complex for FPV (First Person View) drone operators and modern
simulators for flight personnel. Then the President reviewed projects of the Smart
Sarbaz young robotics club.
