Today, Kazakh Energy Minister Almassadam Satkaliyev briefed
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on plans for developing the country’s fuel and
energy sector, as well as implementing major oil, gas, and energy projects.
Satkaliyev also reported on the progress of the heating season. President
Tokayev instructed that this matter, along with the implementation of projects
for modernizing energy infrastructure and constructing a nuclear power plant,
be kept under special control.
