Kazakh President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a decree establishing a working group on
parliamentary reform. The group will focus on developing proposals to implement
this year’s state-of-the-nation address. It includes representatives from the
Mazhilis and Senate of Parliament, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan,
and leaders of political party factions. The group also comprises
representatives of research institutes, prominent legal scholars specializing
in constitutional law and the theory of state and law, as well as experts and
members of the National Kurultai.
