Kazakh President congratulates surgeons on first triple kidney transplant

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory letter to the National Scientific Center of Surgery named after A.N. Syzganov. For the first time in Kazakhstan, a triple cross kidney transplant was successfully performed at the center. The Head of State described this complex operation, carried out under the leadership of renowned surgeon Bolatbek Baimakhanov, as an outstanding achievement of domestic medicine. In his letter of gratitude, President Tokayev noted that Kazakhstan is now among the six countries in the world where such complex transplant surgeries are conducted. According to the Head of State, this success was made possible by the selfless work, profound knowledge, and invaluable experience of domestic specialists. He expressed confidence that they will continue working tirelessly to improve the nation’s health.
