President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Prime Minister
Olzhas Bektenov, who reported on the implementation of economic reforms and the
country’s socio-economic development. In the first two months of this year, the
economy grew by 5.4%. Bektenov also provided updates on major infrastructure
and energy projects, as well as digitalization - tasks set by the Head of State
during the fourth meeting of the National Kurultai. President Tokayev also
received a report on flood prevention measures as part of the work of the national
headquarters. The situation is being monitored around the clock, with more than
37,000 personnel and 13,000 units of equipment on standby.
