Kazakh startup was recognized as the best in the competition of business ideas in South Korea. Artur Shin's project is about preparing and offering useful kits for pregnant women. They might include vitamins, creams and pregnancy belly bands. The young man and his team members intend to implement their idea in Kazakhstan in three or four years. During this period, they are planning to develop an online platform where women will be able to choose the contents of the kit themselves.
“I really wanted to come up with an idea and implement something in Kazakhstan that could contribute to its development. My goal was not about making money. I wanted to make our country a better place for living. What I really liked in Korea is that the state provides great medical care there. As our President stated, we are building a New Kazakhstan,” shared Shin.
It bears noting that eight groups, uniting around 70 people from different countries, competed for the right to implement their projects. The startup contest was organized by the Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Forum Secretariat.
