A concert by the Dina Nurpeisova Orchestra of Folk Instruments was held in Ashgabat. On the stage of the capital’s Musical Drama Theatre, well-known works by Abai Kozimnin Karasy and Aittym Salem, Kalamkas, along with compositions by prominent Kazakh composers were performed. The classical music of the steppe drew a full house, with the audience including heads and representatives of the diplomatic corps, cultural figures, as well as residents and guests of the capital. The concert was dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbaiuly and the Republic Day of Kazakhstan, becoming a vivid symbol of friendship and spiritual unity between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

«I will perform the kui Zhezkiik by Ykhlas Dukenuly, a piece that celebrates the beauty of the Great Steppe. We travel all over the world - we have been to Europe, to France, where we performed in Paris, at the UNESCO headquarters,» shared musician Aqnar Tattibaikyzy.
