Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi paid an official visit to Vietnam. This is the first visit of the country’s delegation to the socialist republic in 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states. During the meetings held as part of the visit, the parties discussed issues related to strengthening political and economic cooperation. The representatives of the two countries noted that the increase in mutual trade and investment, as well as the development of various sectors of the economy, will positively affect the revival of bilateral relations. In addition, Vietnam confirmed its participation in the summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia, which will be held in the capital of Kazakhstan in October.
