Kazakh military personnel participate in joint exercise in Uzbekistan

Kazakh servicemen are taking part in the joint exercise «Hamkorlik-2024» in Uzbekistan. The event is aimed at implementing measures to ensure the security of Central Asian countries. It will focus on managing units in the event of an incursion by a conditional enemy at the state border and during a breakthrough by main forces. Additionally, operations will involve actions to eliminate small enemy groups that have infiltrated populated areas. The participants note that joint work will facilitate experience sharing, improve the cooperation skills between the units of the two countries' armed forces, and enhance combat readiness for a prompt response to any challenges and threats.

«The opening of the Hamkorlik-2024 exercise clearly demonstrates the strengthening of bilateral relations between our countries. Moreover, it highlights our commitment to ensuring security and stability in the region. I am confident that this event will be mutually beneficial,» said Yerzhan Meirmanov, the commander of the Kazakh contingent.

«I think the visit of Kazakh military personnel is just the beginning of joint efforts, which will continue in the future. I am confident that our joint exercises will be effective. We hope that our cooperation will deepen in the future,» noted Dilmurod Yuldashev, the deputy commander of the Central Military District, the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan.
