Kazakh government takes anti-crisis measures to support business

Support of entrepreneurship during the pandemic is at the top of the agenda. It is planned to assist nearly 32,000 projects in Kazakhstan as part of the Business Roadmap by the end of the year. 1.2 trillion tenge (US$2.8 billion) will be allocated for their implementation, which was announced at the Government’s meeting. According to the data, since the beginning of the year, 492 billion tenge (US$1.1 billion) has already been spent to launch 23,000 initiatives. During the first half of 2021, 334 projects worth 142 billion tenge (US$333.8 million) were financed as part of the Economy of Simple Things program. Another 724 projects are planned to be supported by the end of the year. Over 90,000 Kazakh citizens will be involved in this work. Special attention is paid to trade, services, manufacturing industry, transport, warehousing and construction.
