Kazakh citizen conquers Mount Elbrus

The flag of Kazakhstan is now waving at 5,642 meters above sea level. Anvar Hanbabaev, a resident of Taraz, conquered Mount Elbrus, the highest peak in Russia, Europe and the Caucasus. The 34-year-old climber came up with the idea to ascend the summit several years ago and he began to train hard. Before Elbrus, Anvar had already made an ascent to Nursultan Peak in Kazakhstan and Komsomolets Peak in Kyrgyzstan. Their height is over 4,000 meters. In the future, the resident of Taraz plans to conquer Mount Everest and Mount Kilimanjaro.
