Prospects for the development of Kazakh-Qatari relations were negotiated in Akorda. The President of Kazakhstan received the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar. During the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani focused on the expansion of trade and economic cooperation and joint investment projects. In addition, the parties discussed interaction within international organizations and exchanged views on topical issues on the regional agenda. The Qatari Foreign Minister conveyed the greetings of the country’s Emir to President Tokayev and confirmed his arrival in Kazakhstan in the near future.
