Kazakhstan intends to use its agricultural potential to combat the global food shortage, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated at the Global Food Security Summit. The Kazakh President highlighted the transit and transport potential of Kazakhstan, including the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor, noting that the country intends to increase the volume of freight traffic. The Head of State underscored that Kazakhstan, being an international transit hub, is capable of building global sustainable supply chains.
