Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Brussels on an official visit. At the airport of the Belgian capital, a guard of honor was lined up to welcome the President. The Head of State was received by Eduards Stiprais, the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia, along with other senior officials.
President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev then met with citizens of Kazakhstan currently studying
and working in Belgium. During the
meeting, the Head of State congratulated them on the adoption of the new
Constitution, noting that the development of education, science, and innovation
is enshrined as a strategic priority in the country’s Basic Law. The President
also encouraged young people to learn more foreign languages. The participants,
in turn, spoke about their academic and professional achievements and shared
their plans for the future. At the conclusion of the meeting, President Tokayev
wished them continued success.
