Investments in the economy of Kazakhstan have reached US$18.7 billion over 9 months of 2021, which is 49 percent more than for the same period in 2020. Investments in the manufacturing industry increased by 53 percent, in education and healthcare – by 56 percent, in trade – by 60 percent. The biggest inflow in Kazakhstan was registered from the Netherlands – US$5.4 billion. The United States invested a little more than US$3 billion, Switzerland – almost two billion in US currency, China – half a billion dollars less. Russia is also among the five main investors, with US$1.3 billion invested in Kazakhstan’s economy.
