The services of Kazakh airlines have risen in price by 27 percent over the year, Finprom.kz reports. According to the analytical portal, the highest price jump was registered in Turkistan region, where residents saw an increase by almost 57 percent. Zhambyl region recorded 47 percent growth. East Kazakhstan region takes the third place with flight prices rising by 44.5 percent. On the other hand, there are regions where analysts note a slight decrease in airfares. These are Akmola, Kyzylorda and Pavlodar regions. At the same time, analysts note that price upheaval and tariff growth did not affect the desire of Kazakh residents to fly. In the first half of 2022, almost six million citizens used air travels. This is almost 13 percent more than in the same period of last year.
