The exhibition titled ‘Cultural
Code of the Kazakh Steppe Civilization’ is set to be unveiled in France at the
Guimet National Museum of Asian Arts. Unique exhibits and ancient rarities,
previously unseen by foreign audiences, will be brought to Europe. Kazakh
Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva and President of the Guimet
Museum Yannick Lintz discussed the details of the upcoming event in Paris. It
is noteworthy that this renowned gallery houses the world's most extensive and
Europe’s largest collection of Asian art.
“In Europe, and particularly in
France, many realize the significance of this world region, which was part of
the Silk Road. We also know about the rich convergence of cultures from the
East and West, North and South in this area. In today’s world, it is very
important to have the opportunity to showcase a region that symbolizes the
intersection of these cultures. While we have a few artifacts from Kazakhstan
in our collections, considering the public’s interest, we would like to present
more significant exhibits that vividly portray and unveil Kazakh culture and
history,” Lintz said.
