Fifth World Nomad Games in spotlight of international audience

The fifth World Nomad Games are in the spotlight of foreign audience. The grand opening ceremony was watched live by residents of many countries.  Among them is the Sheikhutdinov family from Tatarstan. They are interested in the large-scale ethnic competitions, the performances of their country’s teams, and the fact that their relative is on the judging panel. The Sheikhutdinovs plan to follow the event daily until the Games conclude. Notably, 50 athletes from Tatarstan’s national team are representing the country in such sports as Koresh, Kazakh kuresi, and Audaryspak.

«The opening ceremony was interesting and diverse. I liked it. It was exciting to see participants from different countries. About five or six years ago my father attended the games as well. It is very interesting to watch this grand event since it features various national games,» said Fannur Sheikhutdinov, resident of Kazan, Tatarstan.

«The opening of the fifth World Nomad Games in Kazakhstan was impressive. Compared to the previous competitions, more athletes and countries participated this time. It looked very beautiful. The Nomad Games hold great international significance, bringing together numerous countries,» noted Farid Sheikhutdinov, honored coach of Tatarstan.
