Exit poll will be conducted in polling stations throughout Kazakhstan on the day of voting on amendments to the Constitution. The poll of voters will be taken by social activists. They plan to cover up to 7 percent of citizens. The collected information will help to receive preliminary voting results in real time. A methodology for the selection of respondents has already been defined.
“In our opinion, it is the continuous flow that will be the most representative of the turnout in this referendum. Such practice, such exit polls are widely used in many countries around the world, and it is not new for voters in Kazakhstan either. Our interview takers will be working at a large number of polling stations. It is safe to say that representatives of our fund will also be in all cities of Kazakhstan, cities of regional significance, national significance, regional centers, and even in newly formed regions,” said Alibek Tazhibayev, spokesperson of a fund.
